  • Material choice, countertop dimensions, complexity of design, edge profiles, and any additional features like sink cutouts or backsplashes can all influence the cost of countertop fabrication.

  • Each material choice has its advantages and disadvantages for any given application.

    Quartz: Man-made material, Non-porous, no maintenance needed, wide array of colors and patterns, discoloration possible with high heat

    Granite: Natural stone, stain and scratch resistant, high durability, high heat resistance, sealing required, minimally porous

    Quartzite: Natural stone, stain and scratch resistant, high durability, high heat resistance, sealing required, minimally porous, hardest of the naturally occurring materials

    Marble: Natural stone, high heat resistance, somewhat porous, etching and staining possible, softer stone, requires regular maintenance and sealing, beautiful timeless colors

    Porcelain: Man-made material, no maintenance required, somewhat heat resistant, install difficulty is high, wide array of colors and patterns

  • Some jobs can be completed in as little as a week. Most of our jobs take about two to three weeks from date of templating to install. Timeline is dependent on material availability, job size, and current job calendar.
